I was at Bucksaw recently and was sitting on the patio by the bait shop. There were several locals, maybe guides, drinking beer and getting vulgar. They were also very rude to some people. We won'tbe back.

SINCE THE NEW OWNERS BUCKSAW IS ONE OF THE BEST MAINA'S ON TRUMAN. GREAT ATMOSPHERE, CLEAN, AND IS NOW VERY WELL TAKEN CARE OF.

Beautiful place. Excellent food. Management is awful not only at the marina but also at the motel. GREAT FISHING GUIDES! So if you don't mind being treated rudely it's a great place. Hopefully new owner will make management changes.

Looks like the new owners are putting a lot of effort into making Bucksaw a great resort.
Great family atmosphere. Loved the cabins and the restaurant food was outstanding.

For boating/fishing on Truman resevoir the Bucksaw Marina is a great place to stay. The rooms above the floating restuarant/pro shop are clean and have good air conditioners. Guests are quiet.
The friendly restaurant folks serve good down-home food at very reasonable prices and the boat/fishing staff are knowledgable and competent.
You'll want to come back.
