    I always loved going to Flowood Plantation as a child. I especially loved the Blacksmith's and Potter's "shops".

    I believe this is a wonderful family outing, and a must for Mississippi History/American History teachers to consider for field trips.

  • Plantation charm

    This is a state park that contains an old plantation and its related buildings. I visited in February, 1999 and June, 2004; about a week before it was supposed to be closed down. What a shame if they did!
