The Aquarium sure knows how to kill its reputation in 35 minutes. Don't believe me? Bring $30 more than you plan to spend (so you can park and get inside) and you'll find out over the 35 minute span!
I really enjoyed Great Lakes Aquarium because it was so unique. From the first time you even lay your eyes on it, you can tell it's going to be a good experience. You start in the main lobby and see a huge water wall with a massive catfish sculpture hanging from the ceiling.
A lot of people are disappointed because there aren't as many ...
You spend 14.50 just to get which at a good aquarium that would be worth it. However you could see everything in about 45 mins. They just got a seahorse which wasn't too bad but if that wasn't there you see see everything in about 30 mins. Iwould not recommend this aquarium to anybody. For the size of the location they could have had ...
Okay, I don't think you can really swim with the sharks here. However, you can view so many different kinds of animals here that it blows your mind.
You think because it's an aquarium that it will be just a bunch of fish swimming around right? Not even close. Of course they have fish. All different kinds. But they also have otters, ...
Our two boys (4 and 8) both loved Great Lakes Aquarium - and we found it interesting too. There's lots to see and touch for the little ones and many signs help you understand what you are looking at. Definately worth the stop!
To approach this place and what it has to offer one has to be up to all kinds of exhibits because this place has a lot to offer. I must say, I really liked this place. We had about three hours to spend downtown Duluth and this place stood out. The building looks very cool from the outside. On the inside there were two main floors. The top floor ...
Three kids ages 10,9 and 7 were quick to realize that the second floor aquarium was the same one as the first floor. They did have fun, don't get me wrong. they were entertained. I would have liked to see a little lower price on the tickets. My wife and I were a bit dissapointed in the overall value of the Aquarium. It would have been a better value at $8.00/adults and $5.00 for kids.
To expensive and not very interesting for small children. Vending machines were empty, foul smell. Personel not very helpful in answering questions. Tanks were dirty.....etc.....would not go back
