  • Boring for kids, nice for adults
    By P R, 04/03/09
I like the show, but the music is rarely contemporary. And it isn't the world's largest, it's the world's largest Outdoor musical fountain.

The bleachers are uncomfortable, the weather is a factor, and it seems to drag on a little long. But it is great to stand a watch for a few minutes and to hear the music in the background as you walk along the water on a 70 degree evening.

    Oh, and it's free.

  • 2007 was a breakout year
    By superj, 01/19/08
For those who have not seen the fountain lately you will be pleasantly surprised at the new more upbeat music and the program water and light changes. You can also offer your own program, see www.ghmfsoftware.com

  • one of the most romantics
    By minders, 08/02/07
It is fun and romantic, giving the couples and the singles a wonderful time. It is really relaxing and soothing to the busy tourist day. I recommend it for anyone who loves soft music, water, and bright colors.

  • Really cool Independence Day
    By JuliaG, 07/16/07
I saw it a few years ago on the 4th of July and it was awesome. I was like 27 and it bought tears to my eyes. The town's great, beach is great, boating is great, the bars were fun. One of my favorite "chill" cities in the US.

  • Bellagio Meets Lawrence Welk
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/16/06
The reviews here are pretty accurate. It is worth seeing but anyone under 60 won't recognize any of the music. If you have seen the music fountain at the Bellagio you will be dissapointed, if you haven't you will enjoy. Program is about 15-20 minutes.

  • We love it!
    By Margie, 01/18/06
It is very cool. My family and I love to watch this fountain! It is pretty amazing. I would agree that most of the music is old though. Still, if you come to Grand Haven, it's a definate must see!

  • Musical Fountain
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/23/04
I agree with many other people, the fountain is a special sight to see. No one should come into the Grand haven area and NOT see the musical fountain. It is worth staying out late for.

  • Lights cool, but music pretty dated
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/21/04
The fountain runs every evening from Memorial Day to Labor Day. It's free, the program lasts about 15 minutes, and the music tends to be pretty dated. The light show is fairly impressive, but the music skews toward an older demographic. And Sunday nights - 100% old religious music.
