Evergreen is a nice place for a quick round of practice or a leisurely day at the course. It is mostly par threes, with two par fours mixed in - a challenging dogleg over water and one long classic hole semi-blind to the pin.

Every hole is challanging but fun to play. there a no lame straight 500yd fairways to go play thru. You can decide to go late and only be out a couple of hours.

Great views, fun to golf, you can roll through 18 in about 1.5 to 2 hrs depending on the day and your game. But the tee boxes need alot of work(really sandy) if you hit your irons like me I don,t tee up alot I like to "feel the earth" with my clubs not feel like im in a bunker on the tee box. Overall Ive had pretty good experiences out there, there drinks are a little too expensive for a redneck like me though!

Wonderfull people and course, don't let the par 60 fool you. Great course to walk and enjoy the wildlife. We have seen deer, pheasants, turkeys, a hugh snapping turtle, and a pair of whooping cranes, so far.

I have been golfing at Evergreen since it opened. We were a couple that went through their the pains of opening a new course and with several mishaps that had taken place upon their opening.
