Super friendly, relaxing, and very clean. Does not get much better. Great place to go with girlfriends or alone to treat yourself. I'll be back soon.

Being a regular at the spa I was disheartened to read the other reviews. I find all the staff to be friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I do agree that Carol can be overpowering and talkative but overall the experience is excellent. The spa is bijoux and intimate which can lead to a noise level problem but it has never bothered me.

I just came back from the best massage ever by Lauren! Although it was NOT peaceful. There was extremely loud talking outside my door almost the entire time- could you believe it was the owner carrying on and on about skin care? Very nice. I have never been so tense at a massage in my life. She stopped talking for 10 minutes then started up again. ...

I was recently in desperate need of an eyebrow arch at the last minute and a friendly young receptionist at Carol Lewis went out of her way to fit me in and treat me like a person not just another walk-in to attack for money! GREAT PLACE!!!!

I've been to Carol Lewis twice in the past 6 months -both times for "the works" - mani/pedi/facial/massage. I have had excellent experiences both times, particularly with Kristen (mani/pedi) and Jennelle (massage). Plus, I love the environment! I cannot wait to go back again. And, I found Carol to be charming and down to earth - something you don't often find in chichi Birmingham.

Unlike her wonderful facialist Ellen, the rest of the staff is rude and unfriendly. Carol is extremely obnoxious and makes extreme comments to guest who attend her spa. I would never go back to that spa ever again!
