I have been going to Salem Willows since I was a little kid, and now I take my kids (10, 6, and 2) there. It just makes for a lovely day. The kids love the kiddie rides and games, the food is cheap and we all love the taffy, and we especially love walking out on the pier and watching folks fish, and then going on the beach. It's a nice, old fashioned place, and you can feel you blood pressure go down as soon as you get out of the car!

Great Daily Harbor Cruises!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/01/09
Mahi Cruises is the best kept secret in Salem! Have been taking advantage of this friendly little business since it opened 3 years ago. They offer public cruises all day long, all summer long. The boat is cheap, fun, entertaining, clean, comfortable, and has a relaxing yet lively feel while aboard .Yummy fresh food and great drinks too! Suggest them to all!

During our family vacation to Salem, we originally went to Salem Willows to go a boat ride or cruise, but it turn out to be more than that. Yes they did have a lovely cruise that lasted about an hour. The person giving the cruise pointed out many locations and knew what he was talking about. One of the main things I think known at Salem Willows was ...

Salem Willows Park really does have it all...food, tons of arcade games (some will bring you back to your childhood), there's a huge, beautiful carousel and rides for the little ones. Relax and have a great picnic (can use your grill, too), take a walk along the shore, or a dip at the clean beach... fish off the pier, great for kids, or kids ...
