It's ok for dogs but I don't really think it's that great a place...Also I saw a notice that said there were bacteria that cause Cystitis or UTI (Urinary Tract Infection)...so not the best place for me....

It is quiet in the winter not much attraction, come summer it is packed you can barely drive down the road let alone swim in the pond!!

Puffer's Pond is a great swimming hole close to Amherst. The other reviewer might not have explored the trails and other parts of the pond.

cold in begining of summer and gets gross at end. You can bring your dog or dogs to one side of it. Also it is fun
