The place is nice, with a lot of trees. There is not a lot of animals, but they are beautiful and kids loved them.

We were not able to easily find a nice place for tourists in Salisbury, the Zoo saved a part of our afternoon

i loved the atomasphere because you felt like you were in a real actual jungle! mostly animal lovers would like it because thats all thats there. but still dont go in the middle of the winter cause you'd be way way way to cold so go in the summer or the spring.oh and guess what? you can have a birthday party there!

Pros-
Free, comparitively close if you live on the shore, usually not crowded AT ALL, not terribly hard to find. More or less just get on rt.50 and look for brown signs, then look for zoo signs. Looks like they are expanding too, which is good.

Cons-
More species is always good, but I'm glad they seem to be taking only what they can afford ...

We love this zoo. It is so quaint and charming. It's great for children; they can play at the park, see the animals at the zoo; take a walk around the lake. Easily a whole day adventure with the plentiful picnic areas! There should be more places like this--it is wonderful!

First of all I enjoyed the animals that you have. I would deff recommend it to others if there looking for a zoo to go visit. I think you should maybe get more animals though. Would attract more people. And also put a petting zoo in there for the kids and adults enjoyment. Other then that the zoo is great! Very clean.

I expected to see more animals that don't live on the Eastern Shore, like elephants, rhinos, giraffes, gorillas, etc. I was almost bored to look at the animals. It was nothing fantastic. But what else can I say....it was free!
