  • An unknown national treasure
    By DJ, 10/23/09
The first national road in the country with a history even deeper than it implies. Originally built by George Washington during the French and Indian Wars, expanded by General Braddock (he's even buried under the road) during the same wars, Used by President Washington during the whiskey rebellion and expanded even more to become the first national pike. A weekend well spent.
