I was especially impressed with the historical aspect of this marvelous church. Initially, the property was given to Charles Carroll of Carrollton (who was a signer of the Declaration of Independance) as the first Catholic colony of the new world. Loved the altar and ceiling and beautiful windows, also the spacious waterfront grounds of the adjacent and church owned property of the Charles Carrol House. Charles Carrol being the only Catholic signer of the Declaration of Independence, and this being his home in Annapolis.

Newly renovated...I love the starry sky painted on the ceiling. It has the feel of an older church with great sounds from the pew and the choir loft If you live in the area or just want to find a nice catholic church in downtown annapolis I highly recommend St. Marys

I am a new parishoner with St. Marys, and could not be more grateful to be a part of this beautiful place. The old archeticture of the church is just breath taking- such a wonderful place for a wedding too. I especially love the star painted ceilings, and the cherub faces- breath taking!
