The Best of FreeportI first read about this place in the New Yorker magazine. Curious, I visited and I was not disappointed. A wide-array of very reasonably priced goods; everything in this place, including the very personable and helpful staff, exuded a touch of practical elegance without being precious. A Unique ExperienceRecently this British goods shop was devasted by a fire, but the new location across from L.L. Bean's and a nice restaurant has only enhanced its status as one of the most pleasurable shopping experiences in town. With its higher visibility, it seems that shoppers have caught on, too.
