I live nearby and this is a nice place to have a picnic on a sunny day. It is on the bayou, and you can sit on the wharf and feed the ducks. The library is great, and often has story-time and other activities for kids. The library is upstairs and downstairs is a museum of the Cajun culture of our area, which is fun for adults and kids.
