The state park at St. Martinville LA is a true gem to visit. The tour is given by knowledgeable intrepreters in costume and moves at a very leisurely rate. The plantation home and other buildings are in excellent renovated appearance plus the museum on site is very interesting as well as is the short interpretive film. This visit is a definite must-see for all!!
