A truly fine museum. Almost anyone should find something of great interest.

I would recommend it to anyone. If you are down on the South a visit will help cure that view.

For the past 16 years I have lived in California and told everyone that this museum is entertaining and a must! Don't visit Shreveport without it!

The Norton has an outstanding collection of art from the American frontier. The Remingtons represent a strong sample of his works. The gun collection is fascinating. An outstanding museum whose art is equal to many better known museums. It should be on everyone's agenda when in Shreveport. Family oriented. The museum people helped make the experience even better, and the grounds are very beautiful.

The Albert Bietstadts are amazing.

A great place to spend the afternoon looking at wonderful art. A must to visit during Azalea season, and strolling behind the museum even in the off season is always pleasant.
