I having been going to Ernest for the last 40 years. They still have the best food in NOrthern Louisiana. Be sure and try their crab claws. They are the world's best.

This is the third time I have depended on the top ten yahoo list when picking a long weekend get away. I am so glad I found Ernest's restaurant. My wife and I agree it was probably the best meal of our lives. Never will I travel in that direction again without making Ernest's a must stop.

This place is the perfect taste of New Orleans, but with the exact elegance of any high-scale uptown restaurant in a more desirable (than New Orleans!) location. Service is fabulous, mood and setting perfect! And the food is the best in the city of Shreveport!

I travel all over the world and this is one of my top three picks. Food is excellent and service is great. If you do not agree that the marinated crab claws are the best you have ever tasted then leave them for me and I will finish them off for you. My office has had 10 Christmas parties here and we are going for number 11 this year.
