    It is a beautiful property and so filled with history. Gorgeous grounds and the bayou is breathtaking. Great tour. So much history everywhere there. Must see!!

    Shadows-on-the-Teche is a great place to visit. There are thousands of original documents spanning four generations of the same family who lived in the house.
    Our guide was friendly and knew her history. We felt free to ask questions and express opinions. We didn't feel like just another group of tourists.
