We are going back!My friends and I first visited in 2004 and we were able to see the place in the process of restoration. It is the finest example of a what a full working planation would have looked like. The guides are knowledgable and passionate about the history. Well worth the visit and my friends and I are returning next weekend to see the progress on the grounds. Can't wait!OVERALL

Great place to visit for historyMy husband and I stopped by Oakland late in the afternoon last week. The young lady that toured us around the grounds was so very nice and gave us an interesting insite into this plantation. The history of the family was great. Thanks.OVERALLAtmosphere
