I truly enjoyed myself. The only thing I didn't like was that it was too hot outside and we miss the train ride! The Zoo is really huge! Overall, I enjoyed it!

They have a surprising amount of exhibits. The kids loved the train ride, which comes with an overview of what you can walk around and see at the zoo. Besides the petting zoo, a few of the cages give you a very close look at some of the animals.

Our family has visited lots of zoos across the country and we were very impressed that Baton Rouge had such a nice zoo, and so large. The playground, otter exhibit, aquarium and train were our favorites. The zoo was very clean and well maintained. Their yards for the animals like the zebra and deer were much larger and nicer than most zoos. ...

It was clean,the animals were happy,they have fun with family activities such as Boo at the Zoo.I love my visits there!Children love it! Boo at the zoo is always fun.The tigers,bears,snakes,etc. are very well cared for.Plus if you pay .25 cents you can feed some fish and sometimes you see snakes in the water and feed on fish.It's so awesome!You so need to go!

My family went to get away for the day. I find this zoo to be an awesome value for the money. Lots of shade to walk in with many places to sit and relax. The Flamingo Cafe' is a great value to eat with kids. Not too pricey at all. We will definitly go back soon if possible. Wish there were more places to get snacks and eat along the walk.

This was a wonderful experience for my me and my girls. We spent the night in the zoo for the end of the year girl scout trip. Each ed-zoo-cator was very attentive to the girls and answered their questions to the best of their knowledge. I would go and stay the night again.

There are a good selection of animals there and it is well kept.The zoo is nice but it could use a little improvement. However it is still an enjoyable and fun place to go.

Everytime I've been to the zoo lately most of the animals are no where to be seen. I think there could be a lot of improvements and updates. I've been going to this zoo all my life and I just don't see where updates have been made enough. We want to see animals when we go to the zoo!

The BR zoo is okay to go to. The zoo needs so much work it is kind of sad. The cats just pace up and down all day long and don't seem to have too much to do. The bears habitat's are not nice at all and need a lot of work. On the upside, the otter habitat is awesome and the tropical bird displays are great. You can't beat the price ...
