Old school Southern football fare. The seafood is amazing.

Excellent place to watch a big game but get there early. They are a LSU standard. -- Don't cheer against a Louisiana team.

All I can say is that we are a crayfish family and when they are in season, you can't beat Sammy's for boiled, hot crayfish!
I know that a lot of people say that they are pricey but for the money and the service and the ambiance Sammy's gets my business every time! Also, you can't beat the daily soup specials... especially if it has shrimp or crab.

The food is local and the everyone knows everyone. If you're coming from out of town and want to "taste" Louisiana, this is the place.
If you're from here, well you know, it's the best. From going with co-worker, the fam or the gang. You can't beat Sammy's!

they have good seafood! nice selection. great service! because they cook & grill to prefection !!!!!!! they offer some good desserts. pasta and meat sause. YUM.

Its just great...the food and service and atmosphere...The fried cheese is the best I have ever had.....Its so awesome. One order can feed lots of people...I recommend that you try this place....

I'm really picky about my food but this place was awesome!!! Everything tasted great from salad to the entree. I think they have the best fried shrimps I have tried so far...Great prices, great service!!!

As a native of Baton Rouge who no longer lives in Louisiana, I tend to eat myself stupid when I go back home. The grilled crawfish poboy was almost enough to get me to quit my job and move back home on the spot. Seriously. Do y'all deliver out of state?

Sammy's has the BEST cheesesticks I've ever had! All their food is great, but I always go there for the cheesesticks and the casual atmosphere. Fun local place, great prices!

They have the best onion rings in town. Friendly atmosphere. The crawfish are wonderful!! Nice place to have a casual date or meet a group of friends.
