  • Bad. Try Parrains Instead.
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/05/07
Has the feel and service of a chain restaurant. Expensive for what you get. For better service, food, and overall experience, I recommend visitors try Parrain's on Perkins (west of Acadian) near LSU.

  • We won't go back again!!!!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/18/06
My husband and I have been twice, and we got our food an hour and a half later, and it was cold. I went last week and we had to ask for the appetizer after 30 minutes, then we never got the food. After an hour 15 mins., my husband informed the waiter that he was late for work and he hadn't received his food, the waiter went to check on it, ...

  • We actually walked out
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/11/06
After being seated, we waited 15 to 20 minutes without being acknowledged by a waiter or waitress. The restaurant was extremely warm and we just waited and waited for someone to come and ask for our drink order. We walked out and went to another restaurant with great service and we were in and out in 45 minutes tops.

    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/22/05
I like the comfortable atmosphere and the relaxing lighting in the restaurant. I am always excited to see the presentation of the food and how it is displayed. Oh! By the way....the food is delicious!

  • Baton Rouge Copelands not like others
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/19/05
I am a huge fan of Copelands. I usually love everything about them. We live in Baton Rouge, LA now and it is unlike any of the other Copelands that we have eaten at. The smell of mildew(especially on a rainy day) makes it unbearable to eat there so mostly we've had to pick up carry out from there and our order is almost always wrong and NEVER ...

  • Cajun Cooking
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/11/05
Cajun food at it's easy-going best. I know no other restaurant that provides as wide a variety of cajun food with outstanding taste in every dish. The originator Al Copeland must have made a deal with God or the devil. His culinary creations may be his souls demise or his gift from God's kitchen, I don't know, but I love it.
If you are a fan of wings make sure you try Copeland's Jazzy Wings.

  • Cajun - I don't think so......
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/08/04
I question the quality of the food - prices are way too high for what you get!
