We took our small son (6 y/o)there and just loved the place. We as parents really enjoyed the shaded sitting areas, entry prices, and the fact that we were able to eat inexpensively as compared to other amusement park prices. We are going back this year---our son is raring to go,go, go!!!!! It's all he talks about---he's even been telling others about the place!!!1

Huge Improvement
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/05/06
The amusement park has made huge improvements over the past 5-6 years. My daughter loves it and we've already been 4 times this summer with plans to go back again next weekend. They added the Kentucky Rumbler wooden rollercoaster this year which is very impressive for the park size. Admission is also very cheap in comparison to the number of rides. I would definitely recommend taking a trip to Beech Bend if you're in the area.
we go there once every year. it is better than our local fairs, and way less expensive. there are no long lines like the larger amousement parks. we also bought advanced tickets in Bardstown at a gas station, it saved us almost $20 all together. plenty of rides for all ages. support your local kentucky communities.
I loved the exciting events. The speed. The sound. I felt like I was a Nascar event but it was a lot cheaper. I had a great time that I will always remember! Great place to take children or your older parents.

Great Dragstrip
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/03/06
This is the nicest drag racing facility in the USA. The grounds are pristine, there is plenty of shade, both sides of the stands are covered, food is good and reasonably priced. There is an onsite campground, bathrooms are clean and air conditioned. There is am amusement park for the kids. What more could you ask for except more races at Beech Bend.

Awesome for kids
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/22/05
This place is great for kids. They have rides for Childres starting as early as 2.5. The rides are not spead out over a large area. You could lay by the pool or water park while your kids (older or course) can run wild and ride rides. It is not too expensive and the longest live will be the drive in (if it is some sort of event day). Highly recommended!!! I love it!!
