i was raised in kansas and i remeber when we went there for a field trip i loved it cause the showed alto of animals that live in kansas or in nearby states so you really get a sense of what was once in your backyard or what still is. i loved it and i strongly disagree to the other person saying it was sad it was terrific lol.

This is not supposed to be a Zoo, but it is a nice and well-kept place to see a wide variety of animals including minks, an opossum, a skunk, a sweet BOBCAT!, tons of birds of prey, and a particularly interesting Turkey Vulture named Chuck. I felt sorry for the animals in those cramped spaces. They are NOT in their natural surroundings and should be set free. That is a pathetic excuse for a wildlife exhibit. Who takes care of it anyway? It was dirty and cramped and not enough things to make the animals comfortable. I am sure they are going stir crazy in there.
