It once was a nice family park until the Board of County Commissioners decided to kill 375 deer using sharpshooters and bow hunters. The wildlife was the best reason to visit, but it's only a graveyard now. Try Loose Park on Wornall Rd. in Missouri.

I used to love Shawnee Mission Park. Used to go there every day on my lunch hour. That was until the park and local government authorized a slaughtering of over 3/4s of the deer located in the park. That comes to about 300 deer.

Apparently the rich that own homes around the lake and park dont like sharing their natural habitat with the animals ...
