First, it's free. Can't beat that. The flowers are spectacular, especially the Monet Garden. Trails through the woods are serene and peaceful. You can watch birds at feeders from inside the Bird Blind in the midst of the woods. You can walk your dog there. The staff and volunteers are so nice and helpful! Don't miss this gem just west of 179th Hiway 69.

There are various trail types-concrete sidewalk; asphalt; mulched trails-to cater to all hiking types. Purposeful landscaping with soothing colors and tranquil waterfalls encompass the education center. An open glen surrounded by various trees and plentiful feeders attract multiple birds for avian lovers. Streams, reptiles and a natural forest make up the main body of the park. A pleasant experience during any season.
