Alvamar - gorgeous golf course with a great staffI don't normally write reviews but when I read that poor review on Alvamar I couldn't help but think the guy who wrote it must have been having a rotten day when they wrote it. great course nice staffAlvamar is a great golf course with the best greens I have played on all year. It was pretty cheap for what your got and the staff was very nice. It's all zoysia grass fairways and the ball sets up nice. I played the city course and it has no grass.

If you like to spend money...Alvamar is not a bad course...very expensive to play. If you are looking for a better atmosphere and nicer people...then Eagle Bend (the city maintaned course) is the way to go. Much cleaner, and it sits next to a wildlife preserve. Alvamar, is not bad.
