Good course. Great value.The course is in good shape and for the money, it is hard to beat in the Kansas City area. The fairways are great to hit off, and the greens are well above average for a public course. Sunday afternoon's are a good time to get a quicker round in for a real reasonable price.2 of 2 Yahoo! senior player from KC AreaThe pro shop and snack bar area are old and dark looking and could use alittle bit of clean up to be more presentable such as brighter lighting, brighter paint, and a better pro shop selection of equipment.
The golf course is very tough however it needs a few more years to mature the zoysia

Great test of golf skills!This golf course provides a challenge for all skill levels and yet provides opportunities to score well. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Sunflower Hills an OK CourseWhen I played on Sunflower Hills' fairways and greens, I thought to myself that the superintendents need some help. I mean the greens are way to slow. They should be near 8 or even 9 on the stimpmeter for Sunflower's caliber. The fairways are decent in areas, but most of the grass is just dead.
