SHCC, a private club, makes a great effort and succeeds at being a top notch dining and golfing destination with a high level of service.

Love the fairways and greens that are always in spectacular condition. Interesting and challenging layout. Any handicap level should enjoy it. A 10 or below handicapper should enjoy this course tremendously. Have your putting and short game skills in tune and you will not regret it.

If you can play the wind, this course could be heaven for you. Kansas winds usually effect your club selection and force even the best players into compromising their games to fit the conditions. However, the greens are very nice and challenging and the fairways are beautiful. This is a great golf course to experience for the money.

This course is the best golf course. Both Hays High and Thomas More Prep-Marian high school use this course for golf tournaments. It is a little on the expensive side if one is just visiting. They might have chosen a little better city to place it in, however, there are big buisness sharks or anything like that, but it is great if you can afford it.

The proshop staff was very nice. Fairways were in great shape, along with the greens. The course has its moments of difficulty (#6, #13), and its moments of ease (#7, #16). Can't find a better course for the price paid in most of Kansas.
