The Cardinal Greenway in Marion,In. is one block from my home and a quick 20 minutes from my workplace.What a gem we have right here in Grant County.It is a shame that some people still destroy fence rails and spray paint on the walkway.I hope someday they will realize like I did what a treasure we have right in our own backyard.

It's a great place to walk or ride a bicycle in a setting that gets you away from the noise and hubub of everyday life. It's also an excellent way to make use of an abandoned railroad line. As a bonus, visit the Greenway office in the newly restored Wysor Street railroad depot. It has lots of historic photos, a model railroad layout, and the obligatory gift shop.
