I can go to St. Louis zoo and have a much better time and get in free! The Peoria zoo cost the family almost $30 and that was just to get in. But it is better than it used to be. It used to be about a third of the size.

This zoo can hardly be classified as a zoo. Most of the animals are farm type animals. We are waiting patiently for the expansion, which will bring in more exotic animals and hopefully give it more of a 'zoo feel'. Currently, we can do the zoo in less than an hour, which includes the petting zoo and playing on the playground. I advise ...

My son has always loved animals but this zoo is quite boring for him. We didn't see any exotic animals at all - just farm type animals! However, it is supposed to be expanding and we can't wait.

I thought it was horrible because the Zebra's were brown and there weren't alot of animals there was nly one tiger. the animals don't have enough space. It smells really bad,especially the bats, and the sea lion show was boring. it is ranked as the second worst zoo in the nation. It is a definate not see!!!

It was a hot sunny day.. Upon our arrival, we could hear the bark of the sea lion. After walking the entire zoo, I was totally impressed with its cleanliness. Each cage had fresh running water and the animals didn't seem at all stressed...and neither were we:)
It was a great place to spend an afternoon.
