Bored on a Sunday afternoon, myself and a friend visited the farm. The longer I live in Champaign, the more impressed I become with all this town offers. It was a free, fun, unique way to enjoy a few hours on a summer day. Just make sure you come prepared with closed-toe shoes (they won't let you into some areas without them).
ADMISSION IS FREE! This is a wonderful little zoo, and it's completely free, except for the soda machine, duh! If you have really little children this is a great way to burn off an afternoon with nothing else to do before dinner. It's small so they can see it all before YOU wear out. My boys are 2 and 3. The staff was friendly and you have to excuse the smell, there's animals there! The selection was good. The usual, cows, horses, goats sheep, pigs, ect. They halso had some turkey's and peacocks, depending on what the farmer could recieve. I loved that the children were able to hold the rabbits and that the cats were running around.
