  • We love to visit!
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 08/28/07
We have been going to Curtis Orchard for 9 years now. We always enjoy playing on the play structures, feeding the goats and cats, and picking our own apples. Their prices this year seem really high, though and the people weren't as friendly. Maybe just an unusual day.

  • Not too bad
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 11/21/06
It was not too bad a place, as we are up from Savannah, GA. I think it was just out of season for both Fruits, and festivities. The Cider was great!!! Employess were friendly.. the Cats were a bit much, and the usual smell with Goats *chuckles* Overall, I can see this place boooming during the Apple Seasons.

  • Curtis Orchard...a big thumb's up!!
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 07/20/06
I have been to Curtis Orchard countless times with my family and each time is a visit to remember. We have enjoyed the apple spice doughnuts, the fresh cider, the farm animals, and the picnic grounds. The entire Curtis family is involved in the business and they are all wonderful people.

  • Best cider & donuts
I grew up on Curtis land before the Orchard was really thriving. Now the Orchard is a place I love to visit for their yummy cider and apple cider donuts. Since different apples go into the mix over the seasonal months, the taste changes. (I prefer later in the season.)They also have a seasonal petting zoo and pumkin patch and sell a variety of honeys, jams and other goodies in jars.

  • We can't wait until July
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 01/18/06
Our family enjoy the freshly baked pies, the fresh apples and peaches. This is a wonderful place just to visit and say "Hi", the Curtis's are great people, and they have made Curtis Orchard ... a wonderful family place to visit.

  • Grew up going to Curtis Orchard
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 06/27/05
I grew up in Champaign and every time I visit I can't wait to go back to Curtis Orchard. Unfortunately it's only open for the season starting in late July. the cinnamon-sugar cake donuts and cider slushes are to die for!

Come with the family to go apple and pumpkin picking, pet the goats and kittens, do the maze, and best of all have an apple cider slushie. This is a nice little place but not terribly exciting. Best for younger children.
