I've been going to the Colonial Mall since the 80's and have always enjoyed my visits. But the last few years the mall has changed. It has become crime and gang ridden. Many of the stores have either closed or are in the process. Security seems to be non-existent. Sad to see the mall deteriorate so badly.

From this day forward I hate this mall security. From the time me and my friends walked in we were followed as if were causing problems. We really don't go to the mall so we don't know the where abouts of the different stores. A variety of stores to shop, courtesy people, always clean. Good places to eat just need a larger variety. Christmas is a lovely time to visit; decorations are beautiful and sales are fantastic at such places as Aeropostle, Old Navy, Mori Luggage, Bels, Macys, etc. Always a sale at some store. Good place for teens to shop.

I am from a smaller town & hate to drive in Atlanta traffic. So for shopping we head to Macon. It is so disappointing to see so many shops in the mall have closed. It makes us wonder what is happening. I hope for better luck in the future!

Very large for a town this size. 1.4 million square feet. A lot of atmosphere, and very well laid out. Very nice food court and a carousel for the kids. Excellent price and selection at the Belks store.
Just avoid Friday and Saturday nights--Too many unsupervised kids and young adults trying to show out.
Overall, a great mall.

The mall in macon is ok but its not the best, ive been to better.

But there are some good things about it too, they do have american eagle and Food!!

I did not like that the mall did not have a public hand directory of there store. I really did not know where I was going. I looked at the big directory but I could not keep up with all where everything was at. That was my biggest disappointment.

I love the atmosphere the friendly people and all the really awesome shops. I think any family who likes to shop and feel welcome should visit any time of the year. People who don't like fairly busy atmosphere's should not visit but, if you are looking for discounts this is the place to go!
