  • A great place for runners

    I love this trail for training (tempo) runs in Athens. The trail is relatively flat, well-used, and well maintained. I can run without worrying too much about traffic, and parking is convenient at several of the places where the trail crosses or comes near roads. I highly recommend this trail for runners and walkers.

    My best friend and I went to go on a hike - not only is it sketchy with sleeping bags and random articles of clothing scattered throughout the trail...there was a homeless person sleeping on one of the trails and we turned around and ran back as fast as we could...it could be dangerous to go alone or with just one other person!!!
