The two guides were very informative and laid back. We wanted just a brief description of the history, what each room was, decor, etc. and they were more than happy to do that. The gardens are free (only the house tour costs money) and are unique as they are done in a 1920's style that is not overly manicured. They are still remodeling the other buildings but we were free to walk around. The main house and gardens are complete.

Wonderful Antebellum House and Grounds!

The plantation house is gorgeous, and the original furnishings make it even more authentic and fascinating. The peaceful grounds allow one to step back in time.
