The place itself is very interesting in regards to the architecture and history of it. Some of the staff was not that pleasant but most were ok. I would recommend visiting the Castillo to all.

If you don't visit any other place in St. Augustine, visit this one. Very good bargain and lots of history. Be sure to take the ghost walk and learn about the execution wall! It will make your hair stand on end.

I highly recommend visiting the Fort. It is fun for the whole family not to mention affordable. They have self-guided tours even into the what we like to call dungeons and they shoot off cannons with you being allowed to see them up-close as well. What an incredible place! Last time i was there, i was just 8 years old. At 26, i'm just now getting to go back (and taking my new wife for a romantic vacation there). I can't wait!

Everything about this place is FIRST rate!!! The rooms are SO comfortable! The breakfasts are to die for and to evening social hour is GREAT! Don't pass this one up.

I love this place, there is something always going on here and there really is alot to learn. One of the oldest forts in the US it will take your breath away! The price of the ticket is well worth it and is good for 7 days so you don't have to miss a thing. Sunset here is just wonderful what a site! Kids of all ages love this place.

This monument does a canon firing on the weekends and it is so cool! Find a spot early where no one can get in front of you and get ready for a histroy lesson that is fun. There is a lot of walking involved at this fort, and lot of sun in the summer, so take your sunglasses. The gift shop has some cool stuff that is not too overpriced. Not a place ...

This is one of the best, if not THE best of the sites in St. Augustine. We last visited on a day that had more than the usual amount of reenactors and it really added to the experience. There were both cannon and musket demostrations that were very interesting.

In many ways, you cannot beat our National Park Service. Highly recommend this for new and repeat visitors. It seems of equal interest to young and old alike.
