Every year it is an honor to go to Sarasota for our family vacation. We always go the the Ringling Museum and of the course the beautiful house. In fact, I always set aside one day that I can go and just sit by the house and journal. It is so peaceful here and it is as if you step back in time to a slower and less stressful time. If you are visiting the area, be sure to set aside time to visit the house and museum.

I have been twice and I loved it. My husband and I went a few years ago and went back to take our friends. We loved all of the museums- especially the house. Everything is so beautiful. Everyone (especially Floridians) should go see it.

We had a wonderful full day immersed in the glory of the Ringling story. The setting, docents, and Treviso lunch amongst the fountains was offset by the perfect December '07 day.

Visited 10 years ago so we were delgighted to see such a restoration - and noticed more gleaming at every turn especially in Cad d Zan. New buildings too - ...

BEAUTIFUL GROUNDS, STEEPED IN HISTORY AND A ALL AROUND GREAT DAY TRIP !!! BEAUTIFUL WORKS OF ART, AND LOTS OF NEAT FACTS...CLOSE TO OTHER ACTIVITIES THAT SARASOTA AREA HAS TO OFFER, NOT ONLY IS THE MUSEUM WORTH WHILE, BUT WALKING AMONG THE BANYANS IS GREAT TOO....TAKE A PICNIC BASKET, YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED !

Don't miss this! The collection includes paintings by Rubens, Titian, El Greco, Valasquez, Tintoretto, Domenico Ghirlandaio, Bassano, di Nardo, Veronese, del Garbo, Jan Brueghel the Elder, Zurbaran, and more. I went on a Monday(free on Monday). It was a beautiful museam, the grounds were very pretty, and the service was excellent. A must see! I am going back to tour the other attractions!!

The museum is great, has the largest collection of Rubens in North America. Mostly his religious works, but gorgeous! Take the docent tour, find out the hidden symbols in the paintings. A magnificent collection of art displayed on one of the most spectacular pieces of real estate. Be prepared to be amazed by its splendor, style and beauty. Who wouldn't want to live in the Ca D'zan?

If you visit Sarasota don't miss this museum. It's not only gorgeous but it's location is superb. The high quality of exhibitions and tours which average about 3 a year is a treat to all the locals as well as visitors.
