    The Florida House will change the way you think about sustainability. Very cool.
    The gardens are great too, as well as the hurricane protection info.
    You will learn about solar heat, solar electricity, recycled materials, etc.

    This house and gardens are state of the art in natural landscape and energy conservation. The garden uses plants, trees and bushes that require little water. The house shows uses of recycled materials and energy saving items that are available on the market.

    A home built to ideally suit to its environment - to withstand high heat, humidity comfortably with minimal energy use. Designed to conserve water during drought, but also to withstand 150 MPH hurricanes and termites. Great demonstration garden with native plantings of grasses, trees, flowering plants, fruit trees, palms, etc.
