We went fishing and it was the worst experience we ever had, the food wasn't even edible that they serve and don't forget the roach's that come out of the ceiling. There were a few small fish caught on the boat but it wasn't nothing to talk about and it was the biggest waste of money we ever spent. As to the weather it was ...
After our offshore trip aboard a competitors vessel was cancelled for weather, my dad purchased our tickets aboard the Miss Cape Canaveral.Although the seas were rough, the fishing was great. The crew, Bernadette, Ryan, Yancy, and the Captain worked very well together to be certain that all aboard had a good time. The trip was so much fun that I ...
We took our two kids out for a night shark trip - The crew talked my 6yr old daughters ear off (and she could talk Dave Letterman to sleep!!) They also taught our 9yr old son the proper way to bait and hold the pole. While the sharks weren't that active that night,we had so much fun that next time we're going for a full day. The crew was great, the cook was great and we even met the owners, who were great.

This trip is a scam!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/30/09
After paying for our trip, which included "everything" according to Capt. Tom, we were convinced to buy "better" bait by Capt. Tom's son at $20 for a 5-pound box. We were then asked to join a "contest" for the biggest fish in three categories at $5 an entry, or $60 for a family of four. We then set out to sea for ...

Miss Cape Canaveral - Really Bad Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/13/09
This fishing trip was really bad . . . . . 1. Beware of the double talk about the actual cost of the tickets. and how the discounts work 2. They do not tell you until you get there that the ship mates work for tips only. They pressure you in the beginning and then constantly remind you to tip. 3. The cut bait is free but they tell you to ...

What happened to the good old days?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/01/09
My family and I have been on the Miss Cape many times but some years back(early 2000).We are shocked to see the reveiws about this wonderful boat.We see that the business has changed hands and wonder how it has gotten to this point. Our memories are of Miss Carla Murphy(owner at that time) and Capt. Brian(sorry,we can't remember last name) and ...
the trip was horrible. i've been deep sea fishing plenty of times. DO NOT buy the $20 box of sardines, it's the same stuff they give you for free, just not cut in half. and don't list to them saying NOT to set the hook, they will tell you to just start reeling...i have never heard that before in my live, we're not trolling for fish, ...
The boat was clean and did not smell really fishy. We had a great ride out to the fishing spot. The galley cook made us a pretty decent burger and chips. Fishing was the best. We immediately started catching fish right after we put our poles in the water. We caught a huge blue fin, a shark and several black sea bass. The crew was really ...
