This is a simple, modestly inexpensive, old 9-holer, with a couple of interesting trees, but not a lot else going for it. The fairways were coarse & weedy. The rough was way too short (played easier than the fairways). Most greens had been damaged. Lots of slow hackers out mid-day.
9 holes is $10 for CG residents and $14 for nonresidents during the week. The play is slow so choose to walk, but its a great little course, beautiful in the evening, and hard to find a deal like this in town anywhere. Not a championship course, but I'm no champion golfer!

Great After Work
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/20/08
I no longer live in CG, but I remember this been a wonderful little course one could play on long Summer afternoons after work. No, it is not a course one makes a point of playing at like Crandon or Turnburey Isles. But to practice long irons, wedges and even a few woods, it's a very pleasant, easy course. No water and few bunkers, it does ...

Great walking course
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/20/08
A little gem. Not fancy, high priced or a "fashionable" course. Go with the right attitude and you will have a golf day as it was meant to be. No pressure, no frills, just golf in a peaceful and pleasant layout. Only 9 holes, flat and not a lot of challenge. However, a wonderful day for friends who walk the course together and share the ...

THE ABSOLUTE WORST
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/10/07
Don't be surprised to encounter geriatric staff members with a free ticket to discriminate and harass you, or be kicked out if you demnd fair treatment and refuse to be harrassed. Don't expect a "good morning" or "have a nice round". Don't be surprised to be asked to wait for others who play golf every Saturday ...
Does anyone have any tips for reserving a tee time at Granada or a special number to call? It seems almost impossible to get a tee time reserved at this course! The number is always busy and when you do get through, it does not tell you how to reserve a tee time. The number to call to reserve a tee time should be more accessible. It's very frustrating. Maybe they do that to deter people since it is a small course.

Walk don't ride
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/24/07
Granada golf course offers you the ability to get in a great walking golf experience without the hassel of any tee time. You just show up to play and within 0 to 20 minutes off you go. The scenery around the course is active with runners, walkers, bike riders, and others using the perimeter of the course as their exercise experience. The course is ...

Long 9 hole
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/13/07
This course is pricey for a 9 hole in Miami with so many other larger, better courses in 10 minutes driving distance. The staffs incompetence stretches from the 90 year old starters to the geriatric rangers. We have played this course as many as 10 times and it is always backed up. Don't be surprised if a ranger tells you to speed up your play ...

play there every week
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/29/07
Pro shop is very helpful for all of your needs. The course can get a little backed up, but that is anywhere in the middle of the day. The course's difficulty all depends on the wind
