A beautuful marinaA beautiful marina! Exceptionally clean, good service and a fantastic view down river. There are cement floating docks, fuel dock with pump out, swimming pool, great restaurant and bar. Nice mini golf across the river serviced by a maina operated pontoon ferry. WELL WORTH A VISITA PLEASANT CRUISE UP THE THAMES RIVER BRINGS YOU TO THE AMERICAN WHARF. THE RESORT HAS SUBSTANTIAL DOCKS WITH COMPETENT DOCKHANDS TO ASSIST ON ARRIVAL. SLIPS HAVE ELECTRIC, WATER AND CABLE. WE FOUND FUEL PRICES TO BE WELL BELOW NORMAL.

Don't visit the Wharf or RestaurantIt seems there is a new owner of this Marina and restaurant...his interest is not in providing the public a 'once a year' no hassle view of the Norwich fireworks and gain potential customers for his restaurant. For 15+ years, the public was able to picnic there, bring food/drink, altho in past yrs the cost of food/drink was reasonable so ...2 of 5 Yahoo! Good Marina terrible RestaurantStaff is helpful, bathrooms clean, shuttles to casino very timely, coffee shop staff great. Great ride up river, good fuel prices. However, kaydance cafe, the main restaurant is terrible. Service is untrained and moody, food was spoiled as a few from our group got sick. Clam chowder was sour. Great FireworksGreat marina to stay at, regardless of what size boat you own.It is a lovely trip up the Thames River, Past the submarine base.The marina is clean,with a great restaurant on site.We go there every year for the Forth of July fireworks,there is a festival across the way with a free shuttle.The marina also offers shuttle service to either of the local casinos.Floating concrete docks are very nice.You did not find this review helpful.8 of 10 Yahoo!
