    I was only going to be in new london for a few hours on sunday morning to see a good friend of mine, we went to the park and had a great time just walking around and catching up. It was fun and just a great place to catch up with old friends

    The visitor center and the fort were great. The people working there spent time answering questions and making suggestions on how the kids could best enjoy the visit. Bring lunch and your fishing pole!

    There is a charge per person for the Visitor Center. Also, Civil War Days will be held on Aug. 16 & 17, 2008. I plan on returning for this event.
