There was a good view of the mountains and the pueblos were cool to look inside. Although the most important part to me and my friend is that when we got locked out of our vehicle the staff helped us right away and waited after closing for Xpress Locksmith that took an hour and a half and never showed up for another locksmith. They offered us food and everything they were defiantly went above and beyond to be hospitable to us.
I love that the Anasazi's moved it there to survive after other tribes took their land over. It is so cool to think years ago indians lived in those dwellings. I know with any structure their is up keep or it would not be still standing. I thought the museum was amazing and the giftshop never ending. It was so great for us and the kids, I would go back any day! It was also the cheepest attraction in Colorado Springs.

It Was Amazing!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/01/08
I thought it was amazing! I really thought that if you payed attention you could learn something. I think that it is really cool the way they survived in just that little space.
"ancient"? Don't think so. Everything was moved here, re-painted and commercialized. Interesting enough to see, but not for the price. Kids can learn from the site. The museum was not too bad. Overall, I was kind of disappointed.
I loved it, thinking of bringing my kids back this year. I scared of heights, but manned to get up there. But it was well worth the fear.

A bit expensive but great for kids or those liking history
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/04/05
I felt as if I had to pay a little too much to see them because you've seen it all in a matter of 10 or 15 minutes. However, once I got in there it was very intresting and if you have children from about 4 up to about 9 or 10 they will have a lot of fun because they will enjoy going upstairs in the dwellings, like I said they are intresting.

Cliff Dwellings

I liked it, in that I'm a history buff. I didsliked that I had to pay an arm and a leg to see a few dwellings. It was cool that I was able to climb around in them.

Phony.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/16/04
These are "authentic" Anasazi ruins, all right, but they were not built here. They were taken down and moved here specifically as a tourist attraction, "ruining" their value historically and insulting the Ancient Puebloans. An interesting (but expensive) afternoon, but I'd avoid it on principle.

listed in literature of things/places to see--decided to check it out--being from the east coast, found the native american habitat and local culture to be educational and informative; dancing demonstrations, music and instruments and coversations were also great.
