first time to cooper, but not the lastwe really liked the smaller ski area, and being able to go up high where you can really enjoy the beautiful scenery. We are pretty much novice skiers, but were comfortable after 2 days of skiing to go on the blues which I thought I would never be able to do. The snow was great as it snowed every day we were there. A great family place to ski.I hate to be the one to give away the best kept secret in skiing, but after eight years of skiing this area we have found Ski Cooper is the best place to go without long lines. The snow has never disappointed us, even in a bad year, although we do go in January or Febuary when it is a little cold.
