We went to Sprague Lake and walk around it. It had the most amazing views! We got to take some really neat pictures. And it was not too crowded. It is one of the smaller lakes in the park. Also, it was interesting to stop at the museum/gift shop as well. They had some neat things to teach you how mountains evolved, etc.
This beautiful and historic park was established by Congress in 1915. Over 265,000 acres make up this park and it features camping, picnic grounds, and 346 miles of hiking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing trails. It's open year around.

What can I say.....just beautiful! The only thing I didn't like was being scared of falling off a mountain while driving. But hey, I'm from a flat area so what do you expect???
This is one of the best places for mountain scenery anywhere in the world! We come back year after year. Trail Ridge Road is exceptional. There are also many other side trips, each one featuring great scenery.
This is the most beautiful park in the United States! You can go from 90degrees in Denver to 32degrees at the top of the park. The views are amazing! Most of the time you are able to see wild life.
