love it!!atmosphere, wine...all great. love it. try it, wont regret it. nice drive, go in the spring, nice people, etc......try the zin. and american river red. its cheap and good. also, bring lunch to enjoy on the deck or lawn. the taisting room has a freat view.OVERALLAtmosphereValue

Best kept secret...Thie is the BEST KEPT SECRET not only the wine world but also in Placerville in general! Lava Cap makes wonderful wines of different styles and for every palate! The wines are a great value (price to quality ratio). The staff are very freindly and willing to teach you somethig about wine that you may already know or may not know.
