My wife and I, and my friends from work, all love the Hangtown Brewery. Their beers and hard ciders are excellent. The food is better than, for example, Denny's, at about the same price range. The staff is friendly and courteous, and the atmosphere is laid back, and the kind of place that Placerville deserves more of. I don't know what the negative reviewers were expecting, but the Brewery is a great place to get a meal and a beer.

We keep going back for the beer and hope the service gets better......NOT. Every time we are amaised that if they just hired 1 pro waiterss or waiter they would more than pay for their wages buy actually providing service and selling product.
