We go to Pismo two or three times a year and have always gone out of our way to eat at Pismo Fish and Chips. My wife has loved this place but after eating there on March 21, 2009 we will never go back. Over the years the food has gradually gotten worse and the service is as if they are sure you will be back no matter what.

Nice people that went above and beyond to accomadate us. Prices are reasonable for a budget minded family. Food quality was as good as we would expect for the $ and not at all easy to find fault with. Oh yes we will be back next year!

fish had no taste - batter had a bad taste - fish batter was oily - fried clams were like eating fried sticks.
the people who rated this establishment as great have not tasted good seafood. Very

We have eaten in this Restaurant and have never had a problem, until this time. We paid with a CC, and left the gratuity on the table. when we returned home to the Central Valley, we reviewed some online banking inquiries, and found that the Restaurant had overcharged our Visa by $13.00+. Not to pass ...

We've been eating here for years and this last time was the best, our waitress Rachelle was the greatest, she said she just started but was a real pro! She kept us full on drinks and took care of us like we were at the finest restaurant in town, I'd say this was the best meal we've had in a long time!!

We like this resturant because the food is consistantly good and has remained good everytime we have eaten there in the last 10 years. The service is great as is the cleanliness of the resturant. Since I am a Food Service professional, with 16 plus years experience I have high standards when it comes to food handling practices and cleanliness.

a wonderful family ran resturaunt with great service, big portions and cheap prices. we loved it!!! frsh seafood with a healthy menu also. fresh salads and large pieces of fish.

As a local, you wait for the tourists to clear out, then enjoy a great fish and chips or chowder-bread bowl. Nothing fancy, just consistantly good food. Prices are excellent for the portions and quality. See old friends eating their nearly every tme we visit.

WOW. You gotta try it. I've never had any better than this. I regret that I didn'nt buy a bag of thier batter because I sure can't duplicate it.

I'll be back if I ever get to California again.
