Having gone to Amadeus Paseo for a couple of years, I was not prepared for the tacky service I received at Green Street. I told the manicurist, Trish, that I wanted the vents in the foot spa turned off. Instead of complying, she cross-examined me as to why I would want that. She had me put my feet into the water and then added the chemicals to ...

Not worth the money

The staff that make appointments consistently make mistakes. The person who does your highlights can not cut your hair, making appointment times and wait times difficult. They expect you to tip assistants who are training at the salon. Everyone acts arrogant. Marco does not take lunches and expects customers to allow him to eat lunch and have ...

STAY AWAY
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/11/08
My girlfriends and I went to this spa for massages and althought it's the new location, everything was "OUT OF ORDER". The changing room is tiny and no one cleans! Cups & robes everywhere. The massage therapists are quite odd as well. Very interesting experience. My first & last experience at an Amadeus Spa for sure.
The staff here does not seem to care about customer satisfaction or correcting negligent practices. I had been a fan but noticed a decline in their service over the last few years. The assistants are terrible, and take forever to do simple things. I spent 3 hours and ran from the place only to have to return because of brassy highlights. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere that cares about your experience!

Love Amadeus
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/28/07
I thought i would never find a salon i loved more than my one in San Francisco (Festoon - with locations in SF and Berkeley) -- but Amadeus has delivered. I get my color by Jenny, who does a great job. and Marco cuts my hair, and it looks great every time. They are friendly, and the assistants are super nice. my cut is more expensive than I'm used to paying, but highlights are less --- so breaking even on what I'm used to spending.

Run from this place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/11/07
A little about the two salons in Pasadena. Although the Paseo location is newer than the Green Street location, the Paseo location already looks run down. There are three chairs in the waiting area that are so stained that I hesitated to sit on them. The Green Street location seems much more upscale: nice waiting area, big mirrors in front of ...

Amadeus Spa is dirty, has most unfriendly staff, and is noisy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/11/06
Amadeus Spa used to provide good services. However, in the last year the quality of their services has decreased to the point where it is annoying to spend the money they as for the services they provide. I gave them 4 chances in the last 5 months to make sure it was not just a bad coincidence. Will NEVER go back! Worst of all is their steam room ...
I had such a great massage from Michelle, however the customer service was horrible. The cashiers looked like zombies, no smiles, no greetings, just there. There quiet room is too bright, noisy from outside traffic, and has people walking back and forth. Spa facility itself wasn't very clean. (Mildew on tile, conditioner dispenser broken) ...

They Fixed my hair!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/28/05
I went to another salon for a while. This lady was messing up my hair. It was so damaged it was breaking off. One day my friend showed up at my party and her hair looked great!! She said she was going to Amadeus Spa. Now that's where I get my hair done. I have never had so many people ask me where I get my hair done! My hair is in the best ...
