Big Joke

The crew spent more time fishing than some of the paying customers. They were not helping any of the kids and seemed to be laughing about it. Do yourself a favor and go down to San Diego.

Captain and crew couldn't find fish at Sea World. The boat was second rate and not well kept.
Do yourself a favor and drive down to one of the pros at Point Loma or Mission Bay.

It was my first time deep sea fishing, the crew was great, the food in the galley was good, I was drinking beer the whole 3/4 day trip, and caught 1 halibut, 2 red snapper, 2 rockfish, and a sea bass.... a lot of fun for this chick! Plus, we saw a shark! Also, it was not as crowded as the other charters that were out there.

Terrible
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/29/06
This was the worst fishing vessel I have ever been on. Plus they dont even take you deep sea. They take you along the coast. The crew is a bunch of A-holes. And only a handful of people caught fish. It is a waste of money.
I spent quite a lot of time on the various boats out of Oceanside harbor this summer. The crews were very helpful and we boated a lot of fish. There were problems with the red tides that we experienced, but the crews and captains did their best.I have to give alot of credit to the new captain, Tim, on the Sea Trek.He really gave it a lot of effort ...
